  • Before You arrive
    1.  Avoid shaving the day of the appointment. 2.  Avoid caffeine at least 3-4 hours before your float. 3.  Do not float if you have dyed your hair in the past two weeks - the dye will come out into the water. 4.  Don’t have a heavy meal immediately before floating, don’t be too hungry either.  A similar balance as if you were about to do exercise. 5. Hydrate 1-2 hours before floating. 6. Arrange your schedule so that after the float, the remainder of your day is calm and unhurried, allowing you to fully absorb and integrate the experience. 7. We provide you with complimentary ear plug for your first float that you can keep for your next float. Feel free to bring your own if you prefer. 8. We also provide you with a towel and slippers tho feel free to bring your own. 9. If you are not going home after the session please feel free to bring deodorant, comb/brush and lotion for your face and body as epsom salt can sometimes dry out skin. 10. If you like, bring a journal for after your float in case you have some thoughts to write down about your experience. 11. Note that you don't have to bring a bathing suit. You have a private room and can go nude - we suggest it for a better experience. 12. We want you to have a relaxing float experience :-) 13. Please wear comfortable and easy to put on clothes as it can be a bit warm in the float room after your float.
  • When you arrive
    1. If it’s your first session, please arrive 15 min before your appointment begins. 2. If you’ve used our services before, please arrive 5 min before your appointment.
  • Before you float
    1. Enter your own private room, remove your clothing and jewelry and put your ear plugs in. 2. Take a quick medium temperature shower and wash hair with provided shampoo ( to remove product) and remove makeup and body oil/lotion with body wash provided (no conditioner required at this point). 3. After you've showered, dry your face, turn off the light, open the door to your float room and slowly get in.
  • Floating
    1. Center your body in the tank. Touch the side walls lightly with your hands and feet, then slowly relax your arms and legs away from the walls. 2. Assume a comfortable position. Your arms at your side, palms down; or arms over-head with your palms up are the most common. 3. Use your breath to help you relax. Slow and deep inhalations through the nose into the lower belly will take you into deeper states of relaxation. 4. Trust the water. Try not to engage any muscles and let your head rest on the water. Use the head rest if you feel you need more support.
  • Post Float
    1. At the end of your session, tranquil music will start to play and the light will turn on, indicating that you should exit the float room. 2. At this time, sit up, grab the side bar, and stand straight up. 3. Enter straight into the shower. Use the shower to rinse off the epsom salt water from your hair and body by using the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided in a dispenser on the shower wall. Please also remember to rinse out your ears to remove any salt. 4. After, get dressed and exit the room. 5. After your first float we like to have a short post-float chat to see how your experience was. 6. As a part of our first time float session we book a quick15 minute post float consultation call with you for several days after your float to see how you are doing since your float therapy session.
